P.A.S.T.A.

P.A.S.T.A. is on a mission to change the way the world cares.

“Sometimes when you hear community service people think it has to be a huge project on some global scale to make any sort of difference, and we’re here to prove that wrong,” said Jenna, the creator of Peers and Students Taking Action, also known as P.A.S.T.A.

It was important to them to make a community service group that was full of high school students. “We want to show the world that it’s not just adult-run organizations that can make such a big difference.” They believe that their group will have a long-lasting impact on kids in their generation because it will give them an example to look up to. “When you start them off younger with these tools of empowerment they are more likely to continue with it, especially because they are the voice of the future.”

Their biggest goal is to change the way the world cares, and change comes by taking action, no matter who you are, or how old you are.
